Besides producers, the program involves major players in the beef value chain in the area of meatpacking, retail and financial sector.
Pecsa has made a partnership with the Althelia Climate fund. This fund invests in sustainable land use initiatives that generate financial return and environmental benefits such as the reduction of deforestation and biodiversity conservation.
Pecsa is a partner in beef cattle ranching research with Professor Fabiano Alvim Barbosa of the UFMG School of Veterinary Studies focusing on technical, economic and sustainable production of beef cattle in the region of Mato Grosso.
